The Animal Genetics and Breeding Division of ICAR-NDRI, Karnal invites applications for its three-month Certificate Course on Animal Breeding Techniques. The course covers breed identification, data recording, selection methods, breeding systems, conservation of farm animal genetic resources, and genetic evaluation, including breeding value estimation. It helps participants make informed decisions that improve the health and productivity of their herds.
- Duration: 3 months (12 weeks)
- Eligibility: 10+2 pass. Open to farmers, students, veterinarians and early-career researchers
- Mode: 80% online (recorded lectures and presentations), 20% in person
