E-Cell

E-CELL NDRI: Established with the aim of providing assistance to students with ideas to revolutionize the Dairy and Entrepreneurship Sector, We, the students of B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) initiated the Entrepreneurship Cell of ICAR-NDRI. The logo for the E-Cell NDRI was designed under the eminent guidance of NDRI faculty.

The vision of the E-Cell is to become a leading hub for dairy entrepreneurship, fostering innovative solutions, and sustainable businesses that transform the dairy industry. Our slogan is “Transforming the Dairy Industry through Innovation and Entrepreneurship”

 We aim to:

- Encourage students to develop entrepreneurial ventures that address challenges in dairy farming, processing, and marketing

- Provide resources, mentorship, and networking opportunities to support dairy-focused startups

- Develop skills and knowledge in dairy entrepreneurship, technology, and sustainability

- Promote innovative dairy products, services, and processes that enhance consumer experience and industry efficiency

- Collaborate with dairy industry stakeholders to drive growth, improve livelihoods, and ensure environmental sustainability

- Establish a dairy entrepreneurship ecosystem that attracts investment, talent, and partnerships.

NDRI faculty is very enthusiastic about this initiative by the students and the faculty advisor supports the E-Cell in coordinating and managing its activities including quizzes, group discussions, idea pitching competition etc.

ACTIVITIES:

1. Ideas Pitching Competition 

• It was an idea pitching competition where participants represented their ideas. It was held at Exhibition Unit, ICAR-NDRI after regular schedule of classes on 03/10/24. The competition was judged by Dr. Shaik Abdul Hussain, Senior Scientist and Dr. Gaurav Deshwal, Scientist, Dairy Technology Division, ICAR-NDRI.
