- Seven antagonistic lactic acid bacteria against E. coli and S. aureus have been isolated from natural sources, characterized, and submitted to NCDC
- Involved in analysis of antimicrobial components in the milk of Malnad gidda cattle

- Secured third prize for the project on “Effect of Supplementation of Probiotics on biochemical variations in Broilers” in International Workshop on “Capacity building in areas of Avian Viral Diseases and Biotechnological Applications” Chennai, August 21-23, 2007
Training:
- Attended 21 days of winter school on “Recent advances in Dairy Nutraceuticals and Bioinformatics Applications” in the Division of Biochemistry during 1st – 21st February 2010 at NDRI, Karnal.
- Selected for International training Program on Food Safety, Quality assurance systems and Risk analysis at University of Ghent, Belgium (24.09.2014 to 16.12.2014) with VLIR fellowship
