| National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) at National Dairy Research institute Karnal is committed to do innovative research for the welfare of animals while sustaining the productivity in an ever changing climate. We understand what our animals understand. NICRA is striving hard to broaden the horizon of strategic research, technology demonstrations and capacity building for climate resilient dairy animal husbandry in the country. Our efforts are inclusive in bringing the efforts of multidisciplinary activities being carried at various departments to solve the threatening issues of climate change and its impact on animal productivity. Under the leadership of Dr. Dheer Singh,Director ICAR-NDRI Karnal, we are sailing through improvement of progressive animal husbandry. Multi-pronged approaches and annealing collaboration among institute departments has delivered modern way of thinking and awareness among the farmers to adopt and practice climate resilient animal husbandry. NDRI is leading from front to fight against biotic and abiotic stresses and making the livestock production endeavors ever profitable and environmentally sustainable for the posterity. |
